Valley Forge National Historical Park

Graphics for Pawling’s field at Valley Forge. It is an approximately 2.3 mile long 8 foot wide trail. The aim of this trail is to educate visitors and also provide some beautiful vistas There were a few historical nodes and also some problem areas which I designed with and around. My goals for this design were to follow the natural tree line, avoid bisecting as much habitat as possible, and add plantings only where there was too much sun or to conceal views.

Not seen below, I also designed signage for the historical nodes, as well as short and long-term management timelines
